What is RTML?
RTML is the proprietary programming language that is used by Yahoo! Merchant Solution stores.
The language is used to control the look and functionality of Yahoo! Small Business stores. While you can make general site edits using the web-based content management system, it is RTML that takes those values and builds the actual pages you see.
RTML also allows a programmer to add certain functionality to your site, such as changing the way an image is enlarged, splitting up large pages of products using pagination or other features.
RTML also allows the pages of a site to be published in static HTML; this is very beneficial to e-commerce site owners as it allows a stores pages to be seen by search engines.
